Greetings Cosmic Being,
Today, June 24th, we have a powerful *super* full moon in the cardinal earth sign of Capricorn. With the Sun standing opposite in the sign of Cancer, we have an opportunity to address this important astrological axis. During Cancer season, we are more subjected to our emotions and the influence of our closest people, including our family. You may have already noticed more emotions, sensitivity, or desire for creating comfort and security over the last couple days. The moon is now opposite this energy and drawing our attention to our public image, career, sense of duty and responsibility, or even authority. We may be asked to shine our awareness on how our public reputation will affect our home life and vice versa.
The planets are aligning under this Full Moon in very dynamic ways. We have Jupiter in Pisces moving retrograde at 2°, which is making a positive aspect to the Sun (trine) and the Moon (sextile). This suggests there is hope, joy, optimism, and expansion that is underlying this lunation. However, we also just had Venus standing opposite Pluto within 24 hours of this full moon. This suggests that our relationships, especially romantic ones, may be affected. And it just so happens that Venus is in Cancer and Pluto is in Capricorn, further highlighting this duality between public & private life. There also could be strong themes connected to our parents, mother & father energy, or our general sense of home & purpose in our life.
Full Moons are a time of culmination, full energy, and release. There may be something in our life we're having to address and perhaps let go of. This could relate to a responsibility or duty we've taken on. This could also be forcing us to step into that parental role and be accountable for those who feel like family. Since the moon will be in the 3rd house at the exact moment of the Full Moon, we may notice this energy manifest through a particular communication, text/email or other message, our local neighborhood or surrounding community, or even our car or commuting experience. The Sun in the 9th house is casting light onto these areas through our own belief systems, religion, philosophy, or higher education or learning.
Here are some reflection questions to ask yourself:
What am I holding myself responsible for and does it bring me security or comfort?
How does my home & family support my career & public image?
What adjustments are needed to have a better home/work life?
Comment below any of your own personal reflections or what you will be focusing on during this Capricorn Full Moon!
Sending love,
Cora
